About Rancho Adolfo Estates

Rancho Adolfo Estates Lifestyle

Our Senior Community is located approximately 10 miles inland from the Coast of Southern California, in the City of Camarillo, within Ventura County.

The City of Camarillo is named after Don Adolfo Camarillo, a rancher, businessman and famous area pioneer (1864 to 1958). Our community “Rancho Adolfo Estates”‘ uses part of his name and is located on land that was once a portion of the original 10,000 acre Spanish land grant created in 1837.

The Camarillo area enjoys one of the World’s most pleasant climates. All year, it’s mostly sunny and warm. Rainfall averages 15 inches per year, mostly from October to April. During the winter, most days average 65° to 75°. During the summer, days average 75°-80°. The hottest weather is in the 90°+ range. Even on a moderately hot day, the humidity is low and the nights cool down to the 70’s.

The City of Camarillo area has excellent shopping, including the well known “Camarillo Premium Outlets”, movie theaters, restaurants, many beautiful city parks with public tennis courts and picnic areas, a new public library, one of the lowest crime rates in the nation, and good job opportunities. Also, the City of Camarillo has excellent landscaping, good roads, and an abundance of trees. Good planning and strict architectural standards throughout the years have resulted in most public buildings and homes in the City being constructed in “Modern California Spanish Architecture” with red tile roofs.

There are 12 golf courses in the vicinity (you can play all year around) and wonderful beaches 20 minutes away. Neighboring communities of Ventura, Oxnard, Thousand Oaks and Westlake offer additional recreation, shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Two large yacht harbors are located in the Channel Islands area in nearby Oxnard and the Ventura Marina.

Rancho Adolfo Estates is a 52.5 acre Planned Unit Development of 250 manufactured homes for person 55 and older. This community incorporates green belts with meandering walkways, upscale landscaping, hundreds of trees and high standards that will assure you of a better investment in a neighborhood designed with appreciation in mind.
